Privacy Notice

Last updated: September 9, 2026

Friends of Saira Draper, Inc. ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect when you use votesaira.com (the "Site") or interact with our campaign, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide to us directly, including:

  • Contact information: name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and ZIP code.
  • Yard-sign requests: delivery address, coordinates if you pick one from the address suggestions, and delivery instructions you choose or type.
  • Volunteer signups: interests, availability, and any notes you share.
  • "Work with Saira" submissions: your name and email address; your phone number and home address if you choose to give them; the kinds of opportunity you are interested in; anything you write about why you are interested; and any documents you upload. Uploaded documents are usually resumes, which commonly carry employment history, education, and contact details of their own.
  • Constituent-services messages: the content of the message you send through our contact form.
  • Mobile phone numbers when you opt in to receive text messages, through a form on votesaira.com, a paper sign-up sheet at a campaign event, or another channel.
  • Donations: handled by ActBlue or other third-party processors. We receive a record of your contribution (name, address, employer / occupation, amount) as required by campaign-finance law; payment-card details are handled entirely by the processor.

We also collect limited technical information automatically for purposes of site reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to messages you send us;
  • fulfill yard-sign requests and keep you informed of their status;
  • coordinate volunteer activities;
  • consider "Work with Saira" submissions and follow up with you about opportunities on the campaign;
  • send you campaign email or text messages if you have opted in;
  • process and acknowledge donations, and comply with applicable federal and state campaign-finance reporting requirements;
  • operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • comply with law enforcement requests, subpoenas, and other legal obligations.

"Work with Saira" submissions, including the documents attached to them, are visible only to campaign staff who are signed in to our admin system and hold the administrator role. Uploaded documents are held in a private storage bucket — they are not reachable from a public web address, and each download runs through an endpoint that checks for that role first.

We send one confirmation email to the address you give us, so you know your information reached the team. That is a one-off acknowledgement — submitting the form does not sign you up for campaign email or text messages. We do not delete these submissions or their documents on any set schedule; they remain in our admin system. If you have a question about the information you sent us, write to us using the details under Contact Us.

3. Mobile Information and SMS Communications

Text Messaging Opt-In Data: We will not share or sell your text messaging opt-in data, consent, or related personal information with any third parties unless required by law.

When you provide your mobile phone number to Friends of Saira Draper, Inc. — through a form on votesaira.com, a paper sign-up sheet at a campaign event, or another channel — we use it to send you text messages related to our campaign, as described on our Terms & Conditions page.

Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of personal information collected through the SMS program, including mobile numbers, are excluded from sharing with third parties for such purposes.

We may share your mobile number with service providers (for example, our text-messaging platform) solely so they can help us deliver messages on our behalf. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. To request that we delete your mobile number from our records, email text@votesaira.com.

For the full details of how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, please read the rest of this Privacy Notice.

4. Your Choices

You have the following choices with respect to your information:

  • Email: unsubscribe from campaign emails using the link at the bottom of any message.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to any campaign text to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Do Not Contact: to stop email newsletters, fundraising emails or text messages for every name, email address and phone number we might have for you, use our Do Not Contact page.
  • Access or deletion: email us at text@votesaira.com (for mobile-number records) or info@votesaira.com (for other records) and we will respond consistent with applicable law. Some information — notably donor records required by campaign-finance law — cannot be deleted.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all form submissions, access controls on our admin systems, and vendor contracts that require comparable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet.

6. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes that affect how we handle mobile information, we will notify active SMS subscribers by text where feasible.

Voting information for people with disabilities

Information about the upcoming Elections

The November 3, 2026 elections will be critical for Georgia’s future. Review the Democrats running for statewide office, and remember to vote all the way down your ballot. Supporting the statewide candidates AND your local representatives is crucial. Flipping a chamber would allow us to pass meaningful legislation that helps hardworking Georgians. It would also allow us to push back against likely efforts to redraw maps this December.

What you can do now

  • Confirm your voter registration and make any necessary updates by October 5.
  • Make a plan to vote—and encourage your friends and family to do the same. I strongly recommend voting early in person if possible. Early voting offers flexibility (you may vote at any early voting site in your county), helps avoid long lines, provides time to resolve issues, and reduces the risk of encountering disruptions at your polling place.
  • There is good additional voting guidance at the Democratic Party of Georgia website.
  • Voters with disabilities can find excellent information on voting rights, accessibility tools, and available resources at REV UP Georgia.

If you can do more

Volunteers are urgently needed. You can serve as a poll worker, poll watcher, or support the Voter Protection Hotline. Learn more about voter protection volunteering.

If you have concerns or questions, call the Voter Protection Hotline at 888-730-5816.
